Magnetic Supports for Max Trax MK2 / LITE Recovery Boards ON CURVED SURFACES
Orders placed until Monday 12:00 PM will be shipped on Tuesday. Orders placed from Monday 12:00 PM to Thursday 12:00 PM will be shipped on Friday.
QUICK RELEASE WILL ALSO BE AVAILABLE FOR MAX TRAX, BUT THAT WILL BE AROUND SEPTEMBER, THE QUICK RELEASE SYSTEM WILL BE “UPGRADABLE” ON THE CLASSIC ONES, YOU WON’T HAVE TO CHANGE THE MAGNETS IF YOU PURCHASED THIS KIT, AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE CUSTOM JOINTS.
If you intend to carry your Max Trax MK2/LITE/XTREME on surfaces that are not perfectly flat: i.e. upper part of the body of the vehicle, closer to the roof, or on the hood/bonnet, please buy this kit and not the normal one.
Our iconic magnetic supports for the classic Max Trax MK2 got better and more accessible.
Four (4) rubberized magnets, each with 50 kg (110 lbs) of force, for a total of 200 kg, and 440 lbs of force.
Diameter of the magnets: 90mm (3.54 inch), height of the product 95mm (3.74 inches), 260 gr (0.51 lbs).
Those magnets and pins are made for Max Trax MK2 and XTREME, each set of pins holds one pair (2 boards), some clients have changed the internal bolt to be longer to fit with other brands of recovery boards, but we do not recommend this as we haven’t tested this method.
These are designed, produced, and hand-assembled in Switzerland.
Please note that also if almost non-perceivable, the plastic part of the pins is 3D printed, with the most expensive materials at 100 euros per kg of plastic. This material is plastic reinforced with carbon fiber, making the pins extremely durable and resistant to heat and impact.
Fabrication method
Our products are created using advanced 3D printing technology with the highest quality materials available. However, due to the nature of this production method, there may be minor imperfections such as visible layers or slight waviness in the material. Please note that we carefully separate any items with noticeable defects and only ship those that meet our quality standards. It's important to remember that these are not plastic injection molded pieces, which are known for their flawless appearance.
Does 3D printing change something for you?
Not really, except for the fact that you might see some really thin layers of plastic due to the nature of the process, but this is way more limited than the most popular 3D prints you see on the market, as this composite is printed at 270 degrees Celsius, meaning it can withstand extremely high temperatures before deforming.
With which vehicle is this kit compatible?
The fastest way to know if magnets will work with your vehicle is to try a kitchen magnet, generally speaking, it works with all vehicles that are not made of aluminum; Land Rovers and new Ford Broncos are made of aluminum, so the magnets won’t attach to those bodies.
Warranty and single pieces replacements
Each product we make comes with a standard one-year warranty, but we also guarantee you that if you ever break something, or lose it, you will be able to replace every single part, from a screw to a small plastic piece, for reasonable prices instead of being forced to buy the whole kit!
