Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we aim to ship to every possible country. Our products are designed, made, and shipped from Switzerland. Please note that buyers outside of Switzerland may have to pay import duties, and our prices do not include sales tax (VAT) except for Swiss customers.

    Why is shipping so expensive?

We are located in Switzerland, and the postal service is extremely expensive, the price you see and pay, is only half of the price of shipping, and the other half is at our cost.

What is Tactic Vans' shipping schedule?

Orders placed until Monday 12:00 PM will be shipped on Tuesday. Orders placed from Monday 12:00 PM to Thursday 12:00 PM will be shipped on Friday.

Expected delivery times from date of shipping:

Delivery times typically range from 4 to 14 days, depending on the destination and customs processes.

Orders that include products that are not in stock will be shipped once everything is ready. If you want the in-stock products to be shipped earlier, please place two separate orders. The shipping costs are high, and we cover half of the shipping fees you see, which impacts our margins significantly.

Orders shipped outside Europe with Swiss Post: Package appears to be “blocked in Zurich”.

The package is not stuck in Zurich; after 48 hours from the tracking being registered in Zurich, the package should be in a logistic center in the destination country, waiting to be processed by customs. We understand that seeing this on the tracking information is frustrating. However, the good news is that once it is processed by customs in your country, it will be delivered quickly. If we were to ship another package, it would likely take even longer to deliver. Please have a few more days of patience.

  • Are the magnets compatible with wraps and special paints?

Yes, they are, but moving the magnets frequently could, due to their strength, potentially damage the wrap. It's not probable, but it's possible, so please consider it.

Are the Pins for the Max Trax recovery boards compatible with the locking mechanism?

No, since the system is magnetic and therefore removable without tools, we thought it was unnecessary to make them lockable.

Are the magnets and pins to hold Max Trax recovery boards compatible with other brands ofrecovery boards?

As they are now, no. We plan to work on this in the future.

  • Do Tactic Vans products come with installation or usage instructions?

At Tactic Vans, we prioritize the safety and reliability of our products. We are pleased to share that our boards, have been tested at speeds of up to 160 km/h (approximately 99 mph) without any issues. This demonstrates the robustness of our magnetic supports in high-speed conditions. However, it's important to note that according to Swiss regulatory authorities, our magnetic supports are classified as cargo-securing equipment.

The driver assumes full responsibility for their use. Tactic Vans cannot be held liable for any incidents arising from the use of our products. It is the user's responsibility to ensure compliance with local regulations and laws regarding cargo securing. We urge all users to use our magnetic supports responsibly and to verify that their use meets the legal requirements of their specific locations.
